Unusual seeds for curious growers

Some seeds simply do not fit into one category, because they are… special. Here you will find plants to experiment with, original gift ideas and crops you rarely see on the market.

Some of our favourites:

• Coffee (Coffea arabica): grow your own coffee tree in a pot.
• Cotton, tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) and peanuts, for educational growing projects.
• Bamboo, eucalyptus, kochia and Job’s tears (Coix lacryma-jobi).
• Catmint and cat grass, for happy cats at home.
• Rose of Jericho, the plant that “comes back to life” with a little water.

If you are looking for something even more spectacular, see our giant plants and moving plants.
