Torch Ginger Seeds – Etlingera elatior
Torch ginger, Etlingera elatior, impresses with large flower heads that resemble a lit torch. Vivid pink to red tones and waxy bracts create a sculptural, exotic look that rarely goes unnoticed. Torch ginger seeds are for anyone who wants to add a distinctive tropical ornamental to their collection.
Striking, torch-like flower heads
The plant grows from a rhizome and forms separate stems for its foliage and its striking flower heads. The large, long leaves make a bold decorative statement even before flowering. It is a choice for a spacious, suitably sheltered setting.
In a container it can become the centrepiece of an exotic plant collection! Flowering occurs on mature plants and depends on growing conditions. Choose it for the joy of growing something different and for its distinctive look, not to be confused with common culinary ginger.
Pack of 10 seeds
