Thai Dragon is a hot pepper variety from Thailand. It is very hot, at around 50,000-100,000 Scoville units.
The Thai Dragon pepper is slim and pointed, about 10 cm long. It is bright red and full of small seeds. Its flesh is thin, with an intense, spicy flavour.
Thai Dragon peppers are usually harvested when red, but can also be picked yellow or green. They can be eaten raw or cooked, in a variety of spicy dishes such as sauces, marinades, soups and grills.
