Tips for really big tomatoes
- Plant in full sun, in soil rich in organic matter.
- Support the plants with sturdy canes or stakes, as the fruit is heavy.
- Leave only a few fruits per truss, so the plant puts all its energy into them.
- Water consistently and feed with a potassium- and calcium-rich fertiliser to prevent blossom end rot.
