Golden Larch Seeds – Pseudolarix amabilis
The golden larch, Pseudolarix amabilis, is a remarkable deciduous conifer from China that stands out for its soft needles and wonderful autumn colours. The green foliage gradually turns gold and orange before falling for winter, creating a beautiful seasonal display. Golden larch seeds are an interesting choice for anyone who loves unusual trees and wants to grow them from the very beginning.
Golden foliage and seasonal change
It also lends itself to training as an outdoor bonsai, where its elegant branching, trunk and foliage colour offer special interest. Bonsai training takes years and does not mean the seeds automatically produce dwarf plants. This is a conifer with a natural seasonal cycle, so losing its needles in winter is normal.
Growing it offers the pleasure of watching a tree that changes its look throughout the year. Choose it for your collection if you enjoy long-term projects and the decorative changes the seasons bring, given suitable outdoor conditions.
