Japanese Maple Acer palmatum ‘Beni Maiko’®
An award-winning red Japanese maple, Acer palmatum. – Award of Garden Merit, Royal Horticultural Society – Hold a leaf of the beautiful red Acer maple and feel the magic of nature in all its glory. Features of the Acer palmatum Japanese maple:
- Gorgeous red foliage with an incredible shape and colour.
- Its name Beni Maiko means “red-haired dancing girl”.
- They are quite hardy and need little care. Once the plant reaches 5 years of age, it can withstand temperatures as low as -25°C.
- It can be grown as it is, planted in the garden or in a pot. Beni Maiko can reach 2 metres in height and spread if left to grow freely, forming a bushy shape.
