Here are step-by-step germination and growing instructions from seed.<\/p>\n<h2>Preparing the seeds<\/h2>\n<p>Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 12\u201324 hours, or lightly nick the seed coat with a nail file. This helps them sprout faster and more evenly.<\/p>\n<h2>Sowing and planting depth<\/h2>\n<p>Sow in October\u2013November or in early spring, in rich, well-draining soil. Plant 1.5\u20132 cm deep, 15\u201320 cm apart.<\/p>\n<h2>Temperature<\/h2>\n<p>It germinates best at 13\u201318\u00b0C, in 10\u201320 days.
