Viele neue Sorten sind <b>Hybriden <\/b>\u2013 sie entstehen durch gezielte Kreuzung verschiedener Tomatensorten, um nur die \u201eguten\u201c Eigenschaften wie Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit, Gr\u00f6\u00dfe oder Geschmack zu erhalten. Eine Hybride ist keine gentechnisch ver\u00e4nderte Pflanze. Wer schon einmal Tomaten angebaut hat, wei\u00df, dass sie bei Insekten und Krankheiten sehr beliebt sind \u2013 und gleichzeitig geh\u00f6ren sie zu unseren liebsten Fr\u00fcchten bzw. Gem\u00fcsen, die t\u00e4glich in der K\u00fcche landen. Deshalb sucht man nach dem goldenen Mittelweg zwischen robusten, ertragreichen Pflanzen und dem Geschmack und Aroma, die in den letzten Jahren vielerorts verloren gegangen sind.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Wussten Sie, dass Tomaten Vitamin C enthalten? Es gibt auch neue Sorten wie die Tomate \u2018Indigo Rose\u2019, die durch Anthocyane ihre auff\u00e4llige, fast schwarze F\u00e4rbung erhalten.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-size: 23px;\">Wo gedeihen Tomaten gut?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Tomaten lieben W\u00e4rme und Sonne \u2013 in S\u00fcdeuropa gedeihen sie besonders gut, doch auch in Mitteleuropa <b>lassen sie sich im Garten, im Gew\u00e4chshaus oder im Topf erfolgreich anbauen.<\/b> Tomaten brauchen vor allem ausreichend Wasser, W\u00e4rme und Sonne. Tomaten f\u00fcr Salate und f\u00fcr den Verkauf werden geerntet, sobald sie sich an der Pflanze zu f\u00e4rben beginnen.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-size: 23px;\">Wie baut man Tomaten an?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>S\u00e4en Sie die Samen in ein Gef\u00e4\u00df, gie\u00dfen Sie an und halten Sie die Erde warm \u2013 nach etwa 15 Tagen sollten die Samen gekeimt sein.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn die Pflanze 4\u20135 cm gro\u00df ist und die ersten echten Bl\u00e4tter gebildet hat, k\u00f6nnen Sie sie umsetzen; ins Freie kommt sie, sobald keine Fr\u00f6ste mehr drohen \u2013 in Mitteleuropa meist nach den Eisheiligen Mitte Mai. Der Standort muss sonnig sein. Halten Sie je nach Sorte (Gr\u00f6\u00dfe) 45 bis 75 Zentimeter Abstand zwischen den Pflanzen.<\/p>\n<p>Reichern Sie den Boden mit Phosphor an und gie\u00dfen Sie so, dass die Erde nicht st\u00e4ndig nass ist \u2013 sonst kann die Pflanze faulen, und Pilzkrankheiten werden beg\u00fcnstigt.<\/p>\n<p><b>Geizen Sie die Pflanze nach dem Umpflanzen aus<\/b> und ziehen Sie sie an einem Haupttrieb. Wenn Sie die Seitentriebe regelm\u00e4\u00dfig entfernen, bildet die Pflanze im Verlauf mehr Bl\u00fcten am Haupttrieb. St\u00fctzen Sie die Pflanze mit St\u00e4ben oder Bambusrohren und Draht bzw. Schnur.
